The D90 is great, probably the best upper mid range camera IMO. If you got the money, its pretty awesome.
The video mode is really cool. D90 has a great sensor for stills as well, as the ISO performance is top notch for that size of sensor. |

I have a D90 and really like it. It's ISO performance is fantastic, as is it's sharpness. The only area where I think it is a little weak is with it sometimes producing noise at low ISO levels, especially in blue skies. |

I want to add one thing about taking videos. First off, I will say they are great quality, but there is one problem when filming them. You have to focus manually, which itself isn't too big of a problem, but because you have to use live view to film videos, it can sometimes be hard getting the perfect focus when it is really bright out. |

How long can you take video for? I heard only 5 minutes, is that true? or is it as much memory as you have? |

5 minute limit but you can start filming again instantly. I don't really know what I would film for 5 straight minutes though. |
