It is really easy to return things to Homeplus. Just take the item, and the
receipt to the service desk, and they will sort it out in a minute of less. I
have returned a couple of things in the past, and it was really simple. |

I bought a camera roughly two months ago, I returned it once, it some how or another had the danged auto ranger damaged. This time it's not working nearly as well as the first one I bought.
A fairly expensive camera, cost me over a mil.

Make sure you don't mess up the packaging in any way. One time I bought a webcam from Homeplus. It wasn't Vista compatible. The packaging tore when I was opening it and when I went to exchange it, they refused to take it back because the paper packaging had a tear. I had the receipt, and returned it hours after I had bought it. |

I have bought things from Homeplus at a 40% discount in open damaged packaging. Apparently if one is persistent, they will take it back. |

Homeplus is great..
I bought an electric wall heater (looks like a small air-con) but its actually a wall heater that blows hot air in January
it broke 5 weeks later in February..
I took it back (with no box -because I did not keep the box - and ALSO NO receipt - because I didn't keep the receipt)
and they still gave me back the full money in CASH that I had paid.. |

They accepted a jam with the seal broken. It was moldy inside. We had lost the receipt but they still exchanged it. No problem. |

The answer to that question is no, they will not take the device back.
But the General Manager in CheungJu was kind enough to actually send it back to Sony for a checkup.
