...a pinata!! Anyone know where I can find one in Seoul?? I've looked in Itaewon and couldn't find any. If you've seen some out and about or have any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Cheers.

Why don't you make one? They aren't that difficult, just a bit time consuming..

I remember back in kindergarten out of colored paper and glue like stuff, we made these, with the assistance of the teacher, in the form of a jackass. I then beat it with a hammer until it broke apart revealing.....CANDY!!!

It stems from Mexico. I think it was a Cinco De Mayo, May 5th thing.

I think I've seen them at Namdaemun Market. I've definitely seen them on Gmarket.

N.B. the last time I saw a pinata being cracked open was last summer when I was home and at a bar, and all I remember were colourful condoms and lipsticks flying everywhere.

Wow robot. Mexican? Ya don't say? You are just full of factoids.

Anyway...making one would be easy. I would like to do this myself.

I've seen them, but since I wasn't looking into buying one, I don't remember how much they were. Seems like this would be a better project than just bringing one in. Besides, knowing Korea they may have gotten them from the same place your old bar did! Embarassed
