sorry, i went through some of the search results first, but there were too many and i couldn't find what i was looking for.

i want to know if i'll be able to get my next E-2 visa from a third country (england). i've had a couple of E-2 visas before and no criminal record whatsoever. would the consulate in london process my visa (with or without an interview)? does anyone have a website with this information?

thanks

My understanding was that if you have completed a year on an E2 visa, then there is no consular interview. Those who want a new visa are able to get it done in Japan. I know that prior to all the new regulations, one of my British teachers received her visa from a consulate in Canada.

I wouldn't see a problem with you getting one there. You could always send them an email detailing your situation, and asking them.
