How many vials of insulin can I bring to Korea? I have enough to last for a year, about 12 vials. Will this cause a problem with customs even if I put them in my carry-on? Also, will the syringes be a problem? Can Lantus and Novolog be found in Korea?

Just bring a copy of your prescription along in case. I dont think it`ll be a problem.

You shouldn't have a problem bringing medication here. Yes, do bring your prescriptions as well. Also, be a bit weary of getting what you need here. While they do have pretty much everything, if you end up having to go through a Korean doctor, they are notorious for deciding to change your prescription on a whim, something that I had to go through a few times. They don't consult about it but just change it. Make sure you know exactly what you need when seeing a Korean doctor; be adamant about what you get as well. I had to go a few rounds with a doctor here because she felt she didn't want me taking a certain medication that my doctor back home started me on for a specific purpose. Communication just made things even worse.
