| Korea is getting routed. It's painful to watch. |

14-2. Mercy!
South Korea gets destroyed but will still advance.
Better to be destroyed now I guess than in the elimination round. |

I should be a baseball analyst!! I even said today, 'I think Japan has faced Kim Kwang-hyun (Korea's pitcher) so many times, they must know him by now.
That's what happens when you go to the well too often.
If it comes down to some sort of tie-breaker, Korea will be out. They've gotta beat China tomorrow but that shouldn't be too hard. |

WBC = Won't beat China
It would be one of the biggest baseball upsets in recent history.
Gotta love those underdogs. Go China! Hee hee... |

| 14-2? Hmmm, perhaps I should scrap the idea of doing baseball lessons during the week of the play-off round. |

Why would you cheer for China? |

Lesser of two evils. j/k
I'm not really cheering for China. I just thought it would be a monumental upset were it to happen.
Mind you, The Netherlands just beat the Dominican Republic so who knows? |

It would have been cool to see China beat Korea, but I wouldn't have bet 10 cents on it. 14-0 tells me I made a good decision.
This is gearing up to be a reverse repeat of 2006. They can lose to Japan again tomorrow and then get a lucky win against them in the semifinals to eliminate them. That's my prediction at this time. |

If Korea lose tonight they're out, aren't they? Or, do they have another second-chance?
Edit: I just noticed that the winners and runners-up of each group go through to the semis so indeed Korea will proceed regardless of tonight's result. |

South Korea can lose tonight to Japan and still get another chance. I imagine it will be a tougher game if they lose to Japan tonight as they will play the winner of another group versus the runner up if were to beat Japan tonight.
Should be a good game tonight anyway.
Lol... Australia is beating the crap out of Mexico 14-7 in the 8th inning. Another huge upset in the making. |
