Does anyone have on ORIGINAL copy of Twilight Princess I can borrow?
I had a run in with the Korean menu and need to re-hack my Wii.
Will pay for postage/pick-up and throw in a copy of Tenchu:stealth assasins. |

Have you considered going back to your "chipping guy"? They usually have some sort of unwritten warranty. That is, he'll probably fix it up for you for no or nominal charge.
Also, I assume your box is already chipped, because the Twilight hack doesn't work on non-chipped Korean boxes (There is no Korean version of TP). So you might be able to run the twilight hack with a backup of TP. |

Why do you assume he has a "chipping guy?" I believe this is NOT the case, as he is asking for an original TP. If his machine was chipped he could use a backup. He is prolly trying to install the homebrew station so he can do a soft modd. |

How are you going to run a U.S./Jap version of TP on an unchipped Korean Wii? Wii's are region-locked. There is no version of Korean TP as far as I know. Thus the Wii must be chipped Korean Wii to have even run Twilight Hack in the first place. |

Well, off the top of my head I would assume the following..
1. soft mod. These usually involve burning software onto a dvd putting it in your system then the game you want to play (any region). This would accomplish making the save game.
2. copy the modified TP hack and repeat step one.
I could prolly find you a link to how to do it, but that is why I would do (and more than likely what was done last time) |

livinginkunsan. I am now certain that you don't have a modded Korean Wii.
To reiterate: You need TP to softmod a wii. Wii is region-locked. There is no Korean version of TP. You can't softmod a Korean Wii without have a chip installed prior (to run the other-region version of TP). End of story. |
