KEB Cash Exchange: 1614 to 1 USD
Remittance: 1602 to 1 USD

I make 2.4m won per month at my PS out here in the bush and if you divide that by 160 hours I work per month, I gross a whopping $9.24/hour.

F&%* me...........

And for you apologists out there, shaddup about not including the housing.

NO! I won't stop talking about it!!!! I want all of Dave's to be howling to the full harvest moon with me until kingdom come! Laughing

"Poor house" Very Happy Nice!!!!

However 2 new GET's just arrived in my fishing town so I'm extremely happy. They're a couple so they have a combined housing allowance of 600k... you should see the HOUSE they got! Not even kidding when I say they have 15 foot high ceilings and a commons place 1/2 the size of the teacher's office. On top of this they have a seperate kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a HUGE main bedroom along with a wicked bathroom and an ocean front view from their outside deck/balcony. Oh and all wood floors too.

I wonder why we have websites like wsj.com or finance.yahoo.com when we can see the rate of the won right here, every day, at Dave's, in a brand-baby-spanking new thread on the subject.

Where do you think wsj.com and finance.yahoo.com get their information from? They read the daily new threads on Dave's. Smile

That should cost a pretty penny to heat when the temperature drops to minus 10.

wasn't it minus 8 or 9 a few weeks ago in Seoul? That's cold. I know from cold. Once you get to minus ten-ish, it's just bloody cold. I don't care if it's minus 10 or minus 40. Cold is cold and heating is expensive!

I second that, the Won whine is grinding lately.

Look here's a deal, if it hits 1700 to a dollar open a new Won whine thread, and I won't complain you did it.

Good idea. A few points here or there isn't THAT big of a deal. Save the grief for every hundred points or so.
