Do you guys know this place? It's 11000 won for all you can drink beer, and they have 4 different kinds that are pretty decent. Only problem is it's all the way up in La Festa close to Daewha. Are there any other Rosenbraus closer to the city center?? |

Another teacher told me it's great stuff in Ilsan, a short ways outside of Seoul, but I haven't had a chance to try it. I found the website and it's a microbrewery with a German brewmeister. http://www.rosenbrau.co.kr/
Having stayed 2 years in Germany before, I'm up for a some good hefeweizen, dunkel wiezen, and pilzner.
I understand they're not allowed to keg or bottle microbrews in Korea as to protect the crappy domestic brewers interests in selling the worlds worst beer.
Do they keg and bottle so I can just go buy bottles or a keg and take back to my place in Gangwon-do to enjoy? Is it true their store won't sell anything to go? I want a keg of hefewiezen. |

Robot_Teacher, you should definitely go check it out! Apparently the 11,000 won used to include a buffet as well but now they have a menu with pretty reasonable prices. The margherita pizza is actually one of the best pizzas I've had in Korea (second only to Costco!) I have no idea if they'll bottle some beer up for you to take home, but it's worth a try! I like all the beers except the Hef, which is a little disappointing in my opinion. The dunkel is awesome. |

I think weekend nights cost a tiny bit more, like 13,000. But yea, it's a killer deal! Can you imagine back before January when they had a free buffet too??? The place opens at 5:30 so it makes sense to get there as soon after that as possible and drink to your heart's content.... |

The buffet was really small and didn't have anything that tasty. Still, it did provide something to nibble on as you drank. The Phillipinas that sing and perform are pretty smoking hot as well. |

hahaha...
Did anyone read the caption over the picture in the left hand corner of the Rosenbrau website?
"Day or night. Indoors or outdoors. New variations. Colourful Lenses. Offer you the physical comfort of lightweight plastic and the visual comfort of light sensitive tint that changes."
WTF? |
