A zoom lens that could go from 70-3000 would be so heavy and expensive that it would be completely unusable. |

Fair enough, I am just having fun imagining what a lens with the typo specs would be like (if its even possible).
Actually I think that is a decent deal. The aperture range isn't ideal low light shots and the kind of sports I usually shoot but it would be a decent lens at a good price for someone who wants a zoom telephoto and doesn't need a faster aperture. I used a lens with a similar aperture range and quality for years and was quite happy. |
