Is there anyone on board who is using or has used the text book English First Hand Access?
What are the pros and cons? Did you have the teacher's manual? Is having it really that necessary?
Thanks ahead of time,

I am teaching it now, and have flipped threw the Teacher's Manual. I didn't find any huge benefit in having the manual, as it simply gives you techniques that would pertain to any Listening and speaking class.
The book itself is decent enough, however, I have extra materials to go along with it. We created a Study Mate to give extra exercises such as dictations, word lists and extra tasks to reinforce the Student Book and the Workbook. However, we have divided each unit into 2 lessons, so we needed the extra materials. |

My wife uses it and her students haven't complained as far as I know. Very small sample size but still. |
