First of all, I'm not caniff but his friend.

I was at the bar known as 'THE BAR' and the actual name is 'NORAE' in Sinchon last night - Friday February 6th.

I had my black Addidas goose down puffa jacket over the back of a chair. When I went to leave the bar - it was gone.

It had my phone and my wallet with around 250,000 Won in it and all my bank cards.

If anyone took it by mistake or knows anything about it going missing, please drop a message here or a pm.

I know it's kind of a long shot, but I really need my stuff back.

Cheers

I'm sorry to hear your jacket got stolen. I've had two locked bikes (with u-locks) stolen since I've been here.

Hey, I hope you get your jacket and stuff back.

Itaewonguy....having a bad day?? Shit gets stolen out of bars all over the world, all the time. To call the ESL teaching population scum and trash is really.....it just mostly makes YOU look stupid.

Be honest with yourself. Most of the foreigners here aren't here for the paid vacation. They're hear to "Get Theirs" with their illegal privates and "3 mill or I quit" attitudes. Some foreign teacher probably thought it was a pretty nice jacket and made off with it.

Think about it: What are the ramifications? What's the penalty for stealing another Foreigner's kit? Odds are, they're never going to see you again. You don't know them, they don't know you. Cops durely won't get involved. They probably dumped the wallet in the trash after taking the cash and sold the phone to a black marketeer.

Welcome to Seoul - Soul of Asia.

Update from caniff:

I've talked to my friend about this. He's a big poker player and loses or wins millions of won on weekends, so I said it's no big deal.

He's just pissed, I guess, that a place he's been to countless times would be somewhere where he would have his shit jacked. On that count, I understand his feeling.
