I heard that there is a Mexican restaurant in Chang-dong, Masan. It is called Rosa de Mexico.

Has anyone been there recently and what was the food like?

Thank ahead of time,

K

yep, go there quite regularly. the guy is Korean but married to a mexican lady. he just upgraded the building from a poky place to a decent sized restaurant.
as for the food, i sure there are better places in the U.S but i know the mexican engineers frequent the place so it must be okay. really good salsa and fajitas. He's got a lot busier aswell which is nice cos he is a really nice bloke who really goes out of his way to take care of the waygouk customers. get out of the taxi at 'chang dong qua', cross the street past, i think polham store, keep going up past the other shops and take a left i think at the levi store down a small alley type street. you can't miss it.

I've been there and I'd have to agree. They were especially patient with one particularly unreasonable picky eater in our party (our experience at that place was when BS Dos and I decided we were never going out to eat with this particular waegook again).

I was there once last year (when I lived in nearby Changwon). The food was good. I've never been to Mexico, but it seemed fairly authentic. It wasn't sugary, lot a lot of "ethnic" food in Korea.

Mexico's great. Due another visit sometime soon actually. Trouble is, a trip there is usually followed by a skinfull in Joyces, which can get expensive.
