We're going to be taking a deluxe bus from ICN to Pohang, and there's only one scheduled stop along the way. Do these busses have toilets on board? And if not, do they make stops en route? That first stop is over 4 hours away Shocked

I've been on lots of Korean buses... NEVER seen a toilet on any of them. They do, however, stop every 1.5-2 hrs at the numerous "service areas" along the highways..

If I see a bus with a toilet on it in Asia, run, don't walk away.

If there's not very many people on the bus and you got some privacy in the back, you can pee in a water bottle, but man is it hard to pee sitting down. LOL. I've done this for real. Now, after realizing there's only 1 stop on cross country long distance buses, you don't drink lots of water and juice and definitely not beer when bus tripping unless it's a short 1 or 2 hour trip.

Yeah, I've been there on a nightmare 5 hour haul. I had to drink half a bottle of water just to take a pee! (to empty the bottle, but it gave me some breathing room).

Most, if not all, buses will not usually go for more than 2 hours without stopping.

You CAN ask the driver to stop the bus at the nearest service station when needs arise, you know?

I've seen so many people try, foreign and Korean, and MOST times the driver will simply tell them when the next stop is.

If you cause a real hissy fit, which I've also seen, they'll stop the bus as soon as possible. Twisted Evil
