BS 2TV의 인기 드라마 '꽃보다 남자'에서 여주인공 금잔디를 괴롭히는 악녀 3인방으로 활약 중인 신인 탤런트 장자연이 7일 오전 경기도 분당 자택에서 숨진 채 발견되었다.
현재 분당 경찰서는 장지연씨의 사망사고 접수를 받고 사건 경위에 대해 조사 중이다.
One of the actresses from the popular drama F4 killed herself tonight in Bundang!
what is it with korean celebrities!! why do they kill themselves JESUS!!!!
last year we saw at least 6 or more celebrities kill themselves! |

Maybe someone had sex vids of her and was black mailing her?
I have no idea why suicide seems to be fashionable to Korean celebs. I think it would be better to have a scandal than kill yourself.
Sometimes "face" just doesn't work. |

... remember, the sex vids was just a theory. I bet tv celeb pressure is pretty damn harsh for a kid. |

| I'm thinking that these aren't all suicides. Now you can pretty much kill a celebrity and people will think it was suicide. |

yeah, Korea doesn't really have one of the highest suicide rates in the world
it's really quite a murderous place disguised as a depressing, hopeless hole high on social pressure, conformity and soul-less pursuit of status and wealth |

| Maybe the media should stop reporting these suicides. The fantasy of having all these newspapers and websites going 'Aigo! such a terrible waste of talent and beauty' might be a factor of encouragement for some of these mid-level struggling actors to step over the rim. In my country they give suicides bare-minumum coverage these days. I think there might even be legislation restricting how much the media is allowed to write and how such deaths can be presented - i.e. without salacious details and eulogizing. |
