this is so pathetic, first of all, they copied the costumes of
Diana Ross and the Supremes, they actually think they made them up????

plus, what stupid song, I saw it on you tube. I suppose 'China, Thailand, and Cambodia" are a real threat to their coolness.

S. Korean female band to get tough on overseas plagiarism

SEOUL, March 13 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's top female pop group Wondergirls plans to take legal action against several overseas entertainment firms for plagiarizing its hit song "Nobody," the group's agent said Friday.

"Several Asian entertainment companies in China, Thailand and Cambodia have been making illegal profits off of 'Nobody' by remaking the song without permission and copying the costumes and dance moves. This is going beyond a tolerable level," Seoul's JYP Entertainment said in a press release.

how is it pathetic? If a group was copying your music without permission wouldnt you do the same thing? If a song sounds the same, has the same costumes, and dance moves I think that constitutes plagiarism. Dont understand why some people here are so negative

The jokes just seem too easy. Someone in South Korea is complaining about plagiarism and someone stealing intellectual property? Let me try that again. Someone in South Korea is complaining about plagiarism and someone stealing intellectual property? No, it remains funny no matter how many times I say it.

My guess that it isn't the wondergirls suing but their management. Those girls have no say over anything they do. Blame their handler JYP. Anybody else think that guy is douche bag?

The members of this commission probably use burned CDs they've bought at Yongsan. Rolling Eyes

My wife was watching a drama the other day, and it had a couple making pottery together (like the scene from Ghost).

Lack of creativity?

Yeah it's their AGENCY, not the entertainers themselves. And Koreans will unabashedly admit to copying...i've pointed it out several times every time i hear someone gushing about how well Bi's dancing is and his music. I just ask them if they've heard about a guy named Usher or Michael Jackson.

But yeah, it's hilarious nonetheless! BUWAHAHAHA!
