I'm sure this has already been answered, but I can't get the search feature to work on this site.

My question is, is it possible to change win xp from the Korean language to English? I just got a new computer at school, my old computer I simply formatted and resinstalled but it would be nice if i didnt have to do that again. Any suggestions? Thanks

Short answer: No.

XP can't change language.

So far, only Vista Ultimate and Premium versions can change language.

Yea, you're out of luck. It isn't too much of an issue though really, you should be able to work out what you are doing and muscle memory often leads you in the right direction if you have a history working with windows.

I'm quite lucky as my co-teach knows windows inside out. Which isnt bad for a 50 year old. My work computer is of the '02 vintage boasting 383 mg of RAM so that is unlucky.

You could download a copy off the intertubes. A lot of faffing about, though. Alternatively you could ask your school to shell out for an English copy of XP.

One of the reasons I don't like Windows: Too many versions of the same version.

I wonder if Windows 7 will have a greater language compatibility?

I can't figure out how to do it on Vista. Of course all my Office applications seem to be password protected and I can't figure that out either.
