any idea how you can get a pension refund if you have no bank account in your home country?

Sure... have it deposited into your K-bank account before you leave K-land. Cool

All the posts here and elsewhere talk about how you need to provide them with your Candian (in my case) bank account.

Or even if they could deposit it in your Korean account. The timing is such that you will be out of Korea by the time the check comes....so how can you get it from Korea to home when you can't come to the bank...

That's because the posters are uninformed idiots who have been listening to other unifomed idiots who post on 'Dave's'.

The NPS will deposit your refund to your K-bank account before you leave K-land if you apply at least a week ahead (this will vary on the date of your last pay and the date of your flight out of K-land).

Last time I collected pension it was in my K-bank accunt before I left.

The last time I left, I got them to mail me a check to my Canadian address. Mind you, I had to argue with them a lot, but in the end they did it.
