i stayed about 10 minutes out of muju.. the people i stayed with pay 5 mill a year for membership.. they get massive discounts..
the room cost us 40 thou a night for a 2 bedroom condo.
i didn't ski so i can't help with the prices there.
depending on where you are leaving from of course but i don't think there are many/any busses that go direct.. you need to transfer somewhere... we drove. so again, i am not much help.
great place, heaps of runs, you should have fun |

As I once said, bite me .... I don't give a flying you know what with your opinion of me. It's amazing ... that someone feel so highly evolved to judge anyone by anything said here. Yea, we now know why you are in Korea. Feel free to judge who and what you want. I couldn't care less. Have some guts, say what you mean ... you want to say it to my face, by all means, get in touch. God knows you'll likely have the same level of ego from being out from behind the computer monitor as a lump of frozen molasses in Maine in mid-January.
We all see how "appreciative" you are with your so-called "cheers."
Get yourself a mirror at your local E-Mart ...
Take a long hard look. |

In defence of Rawiri... (and others who post similar questions here)... it's quite likely that the person who posts a question is capable of doing or a google search themselves for the information... however... with a post such as rawiri's, I presume he's looking for a fellow board member who has been to Muju this season and can give him some "insider tips" rather than relying soley on the glossy tourist brochures the Internet offers. |

In everyone's defense, the search function of the internet is there for a reason and to dispell erroneous information from the spawn of internet users. Directions, hotel names, costs, this or that bus, etc. are all so quickly found on the internet and the hallmark of the internet. Nonetheless, an answer was relatively forthcoming by a few people and thanked with a hastily covered *beep* comment.
Anyhow, as expected it's not really worthwhile to actually post on the forum seeing as it causes more trouble than it's worth.
Thus, I won't bother.
Have a good weekend

Back to the original thread...
I just hit Muju about two weeks ago.
Snowboard rental is 20k per day.
Hotel that is 10 minutes from the Mt. is 200K per night!!
All day lift pass is 60k!!
Be prepared to drop some loot. It's fun, but it can be very crowded. Friday and Sunday night is the best time to avoid the crowds. Saturday is hell.
I hope this helps. |

I wonder why people don't actually use the internet for getting information; aside from just asking when you can find the answer in as little as 4 seconds.

It's always good to receive some information from a person that has ACTUALLY been there!
Not everything you read on the net is true! I was under the impression that I could rent a snowboard and get a lift pass for 50k per day. It was about 30k off.
Don't be so quick to judge. |

I went there last year, one of my first weekends in Korea, so how much it costs is forgotten, days skiing pass was possibly 70,000 won??
Costs asde, its a beautiful place to ski, the scenary from the tops of the mountains is really something special,
If you can afford to go, I'm sure you won't regret it, |
