Anyone know of a place that has the UVA sunbeds for tanning in Seoul?

My hairdresser has a tanning bed business on the side.
He's in England now but will be back in Seoul by mid-April.
Remind me to send you his contact information later. |

There are places all over the place. However 99.9% of them haven't changed the bulbs on their beds ever, rendering them useless and a waste of money.
Just a heads up. |

i found a really great place here in apgujeong near the station. it has the best beds i've seen (or experienced) here in korea. the drawback: it's extremely expensive - $20 per session, but they're the professional quality beds (with the bulbs changed regularly) that you'd find at home (i'm from the states). really nice place with lots of good lotion choices. it's called california tan. if the cost doesn't deter you, i'll PM you directions. |

Why not just post the directions here for everyone to see? Those who clicked on this discussion are obviously interested in getting their tan on!
Come on, plz. |

sorry for the late reply, guys - here goes:
apgujeong station, exit 4. make a right as you come out of the station (on the dunkin' donuts/body shop street) and take another right at the smoothie king (a few yards down the street from dunkin'). go straight and take a left at the cafe pasucci (sp?). keep going straight down the road. you'll pass a subway sandwich shop, a mark's and spencer dept. store, and a papa roti (all on th right). when you see the twotwo chicken on the LEFT, look up. the california tan is on the third floor above the flair bar. here's a website for those of you that speak/read korean:
www.tancalifornia.com
again, the packages are absurdly expensive (at least $20 per session for the stand-up beds), but after two sessions, my pasty-white ass saw a big difference. it's a great place. |

they have the regular beds, too - they're more expensive and they don't recommend them if you haven't tanned in a while. (they're the professional quality that will burn the crap out of you.) they also have mystic tan/spray tans, if i'm not mistaken. |

Plynx:
Does Tan California have eye protection? Many tanning salons in Seoul don't, and aren't even aware of why they might be a good idea.
Also, you really saw a difference after only two sessions? Wow! I wish it were cheaper, but if it works... |
