Hey all,

Is there a place that sells either one that is willing to deliver to any city in Korea?

Please send me a link.

Haven't seen Miracle Whip. I know this doesn't answer your specific question but you can get the same thing all over Korea commonly called mayonnaise and it's just called that just like bananas are called bananas almonds are almonds. I get it in a small grocery store in a small town.

Couldn't find it on gmarket. I imagine costco has it but not sure as i don't shop there. My local super market has the equivalent I buy that myself but I can't say i use too much mayo. Try the super...they have have 4 or 5 brands one is the eq of MW.

A true sandwich maker comes to the table with all his Miracle Whip at the ready...

I did a few quick searches CL, and I couldn't find anything on the internet. As another poster said it doesn't seem to be available on Gmarket. (And if that's the case, it's going to be awfully hard to find. I've never been to Costco - that might be the best remaining bet. Can't search for individual products on their site though.)

they do not carry miracle whip at costco. The first year that I was here, Wal Mart was still in business here. At that time, they carried Miracle Whip AND Campbell's tomato soup at a decent price. That was 5 years ago. I have never seen Miracle Whip again, and tomato soup is hit or miss, and costs an arm and a leg. Sad I too, prefer Miracle Whip over mayo. AND, the stuff they have here does not compare at all.

I saw some at The Red Door in Itaewon a while back.

Find Coldstone Creamery on the East side across the street from Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon (outside of Itaewon station). Head South down the street past Family Mart and the locksmith. Keep going for maybe 100 meters or so and you'll pass a few places that exchange money. ONE of those a bit further down is actually a glass door outlined in red paint. That is The Red Door. It's a tiny place, but they sell black-market stuff.

Better directions and a pic:

Miracle Whip is a unique product. It does seem to start out much like mayonnaise, but has additional sugar and vinegar, which defines it as a salad dressing. (mayo has no sugar, or a tiny amount). I reckon it has more calories than real mayo.

A sandwich just isn't a sandwich without it. Sad

I love Miracle Whip for making tuna sandwiches and potato salad. Every year I bring some back to K-land from home leave. When it runs out, I make a decent substitute by adding: sugar, a dash of vinegar and some Keen's powdered hot mustard to K-mayo.
