What are some of the cultural "Faux Pas"(s) that you've experienced?

Sad using the word ״ (die) instead of the euphemism (pass)

Sad using the pronoun , which could be interpreted as "honey" or "sweety," when might be better

Sad using ȳ as an abbreviation for ȳ ϼ, not realizing that the abbreviated version is informal

(Click on Bogi (V)/Inkoding (I)/Hangukeo to change the garbage into hangul.)

God bless you tomato, at least you're trying. If you're referring to someone dying, then the correct euphemism is 돌아가다 as in to turn back or return. I don't know why my hangeul won't come up but a rough Romanization would be doragada.

Hello, Garp!

You're right. It's "dolagada" and not "jinagada."

However, you made one mistake in your message: Your Korean came out in a way which is illegible on any monitor.
To correct this:

1. block-copy your message
2. hit the "edit" key in the upper right hand corner of your message
3. go to the menu at the top of the screen and click on Bogi (V)/Inkoding (I)/Hangukeo.
4. block-paste
5. erase everything where the Korean was supposed to be and type it again
6. hit "submit."

You will see all the Korean in garbage again, but a different kind of garbage.
This time, if the viewer likewise hits Bogi (V)/Inkoding (I)/Hangukeo, that viewer will see the Korean as you intended.

Here is "dolagada" written the wrong way: 돌아가다
And here it is written the right way: ư
