There was a post on this topic earlier. I know of one channel here in Korea that absolutely kicks butt when it comes to WWE. SBS Sports. They show WWE every night and they usually show special events on Sunday(I think that they are showing the Royal Rumble this Sunday). Yeah, most of the shows are old...but it is fun to watch if you've been in Korea for the past 6 months or so. Actually, they had a Raw from January on a couple of nights ago, so they're getting more current. I'm just glad that I discovered it here because it gives me something to watch during these cold Korean winter months.

I've been putting up with the three week delays for some time now, but Raw became so unwatchable that I stopped watching all together.

Soon I shall be home to see it as it was meant to be seen: In my parent's basement while I'm unemployed.

I don't buy all that crap about "its like soap opera for men" no, i venture that its those tight spandex and humongous (sp?) pectoral muscles that draw the average fan in.

I LOVE WWE...it is mindless, stupid, crap! Junk food for the brain.

Lets see buff, sweaty men in spandex....NO STOP! I DON'T WANT TO OBJECTIFY MEN.... Laughing

Life is far to short to sniff arrogantly at anything. I love all that intellectual, coffeehouse conversation but sometimes what the hell watching wrestling with my male friends having a beer and laughing till I cry is a blast.

I have also had GIRL parties where we tried to discern whose um...package was the biggest and who was stuffing gym socks. We of course do the obligitory..those breasts can't be real they defy gravity. (Mostly just jealousy speaking there... Rolling Eyes ) And talk about what sluts those wrestling women are....you know a good cat fest! Relieves stress and we can act completely stupid!

I am so glad I am past the poseur stage. I can have fun...laugh at myself..enjoy my friends and best of all see the humor in this world we try to live. I don't worry if my hair is properly disheveled or if I am wearing just the right clothes to look "rebellious". Man, that was just too much work. Now I just try to enjoy the people around me....ignore those that piss me off...and dammit......I think Stephanie is just a little skank!

Fun topic...even for us gals!

Ah, WWE. If it weren't for them laying off basically all of their interns, I wouldn't be in Korea right now! Laughing

But some of the wrestling is pretty damned good, especially the early 80s stuff where Vince McMahon looks confused and tiny as an announcer, and the music is just kickin'.

You worked as an intern for WWE? Pretty cool if you did. I love watching WWE, even though I get some pretty condescending looks when I admit it... but it's ok. It's not even a guilty pleasure. I love it!!!

Just wish that Vince would allow creative to come up with some better storylines.
