for recruiters apparently. I think recently? Doesn't seem to be endless pages of jobs per day like before.

Where do you think they're gonna post their jobs now if they're too tight to pay? Any other particular site that gets much traffic like worknplay?

Did anyone read the OP's post.

He claims they're charging recruiters to advertise on their message board.

I'll never forget the co-worker I had - she paid the recruiter. Young and stupid. Really stupid. I asked her what the recruiter did for her, hoping she got royal treatment. She got zilch, zero, nada. They didn't even drive her from the airport to her new place. They put her on a bus and that was it. She paid the recruiter 500,000 Won to find her this job. A crappy job by the way.

"message board" isn't in the original post, nor is "advertise". In addition, they didn't cite any reference websites where they got their information.

The original post starts off, "for recruiters apparently."

That's not even a complete sentence, nor is the first letter capitalized. I suggest if the original poster wants to take out the ambiguity and get better responses, they post something like:

"It says at (post full web address) that WorkNPlay is now charging recruiters to advertise."

That doesn't even make sense, WorkNPlay is a recruiter. By the sound of it, it would be like Coke advertising on Pepsi's site. Why wouldn't Pepsi want Coke to pay for the advertising?

Shut up you dork ^

You need to work on your reading comprehension if you couldn't understand what the OP was talking about, or at least have knowledge about the website he is talking about.

Ok, I am "dumb". I don't know how to "comprehend". Can you sincerely enlighten me? I don't think I am the only one who finds the original post vague and not really clear.

What is actually being stated? If they are charging recruiters to advertise, what is wrong with that? I am familiar with WorkNPlay, and in fact I am working at a school now through them. I know they are a recruiter, so if they are charging OTHER recruiters, I don't see what is so wrong about that.

If that is NOT what was meant in the original post, then I would like to know. Spell it out please. I already said I am dumb, so you can't insult me further.

You could be nice and if I missed something, clarify it. It's up to you. I'll be nice and dumb. Will you be nice and informative?

Worknplay is a recruiting agency, but it is also a website where people post ads for jobs. http://www.worknplay.co.kr/jobseeker/jobSearchList.php It was once free to post jobs on the site, now it isn't, apparently.

Thank you greedy_bones. I at least understand the mixup now. Seems like WorkNPlay has every right to charge for advertising. Reminds me of a newspaper/classified section that comes out every month back in the states called "Trade N Times". You could post items for sale or services. Those ads also required payment depending on how many characters you wanted to use and the size. I hope their rates are good.
