It looks like there is KT Meapss+MegaTV, LG Xspeed + TV, and SK Broadband + TV, and Hanaro + HanaTV.

Are all of these services the same? Is one company usually better than the others in terms of internet service and channel offerings?

A friend of mine raves about Megapass TV, so I'm gonna try that in the next couple of weeks and will post back my findings.
Another friend has Hanaro tv but doesn't think it's great.

internet-wise I've tried them all and found Megapass to be the most reliable, though I'm sure it changes from area to area.

I asked a few Koreans about it. They never tried MegaTV, but they did have LG and SK Broadband TV/Internet service. Both were in agreement that the LG Internet/TV was better than the SK Broadband one.

The only ting that puts me off with Megapass is that its so freaking expensive compared to the others.

My fiancee and I just got MegaTV after they took our only full-time English channel (Discovery) off of our local (Boseong, Jeollanamdo) cable. So far we both love it but be warned that all the menus are in Korean (but its a great chance to brush up on Korean). Just my two cents.

Could you let me know what channels you get with mega TV mate?...i'm thinking of getting it in the next few days. Ideally i'd like to to have MBC Espn, Star Sports (english), Discovery and the BBC with the usual movie channels, On Style on the other English Language channels would be a bonus too

help appreciated

I just 'discovered' this awful news myself. I am using ABN and haven't been watching tv for two weeks. Turned it on tonight to watch some good old fashioned discovery channel and it is now "The Womens Channel"

Boo Urns!

Time to ditch the Do-Do

Anyone have any suggestions for a solid cable/internet provider in the Bundang area?

No, I don't get the Discovery Channel either but to be honest I was getting pretty tired of Discovery anyway. The channel has just too many similar type programs that they seem to repeat far too often for my liking.
