Or I should say Korean "men." If you want to see it up close,
just spend 15 minutes in a PC bang. Barbarians. |

Thank you for sharing. Constructive criticism. *
* NOT !!! Keep your insults to a minimum and use factual accounts of what happened, or at least tell an interesting story. Sheesh, whoever mentioned that the quality of posters lately had been declining -- they were right. |

Actually I quite like this post. I don't normally go for Korea bashing and try to make the best of it here, but the OP is right. Sit in a PC Bang sometime and form your own opinions. This place very doesn't need putting down when it does such a lovely job of it on its own. |

I probably shouldn't be telling a bunch of Waegook-in this but... we also eat human flesh. Specifically, we eat the flesh of white babies.
You think samgyupsal is tasty? Mmmm, try fire-grilled 12 month old with kimchi and you'll stay in Korea forever. |

Heres an idea O.P. go home! Just go home. Why would you want to stay around barbarians. This is probably the first time away from Mom and Dad and people not behaving as you are use to can be hard to adapt to. So do not take these barbarians money or live in the housing they gave you, Mickey D's still has that fry vat attendant job open, Mom has kept your room just the same, the D and D club still meets every friday and Saturday night. this is well intended advice ; go home. |

Buy a computer, you broke bloke. Every time I go into a PC Bang it's full of kids playing WoW. I have no idea what you're talking about. |

Well every time I go in one it is full or frustrated 30 somethings howling like baboons and cursing like sailors whenever they make a point on a 12 year old game. Oh yeah and th kids you are talking about don't do much except learn this putrid behaviour and have smoke blown in their faces. |

Harmless nerds who can't help but smoke and spit continually? Could be a lot worse, I guess. |

Yeah. Time to see the world, OP. If you want real culture shock - try going to a few Kiwi rugby games (and the aftermatch functions). |

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
In the land of the pathetic nerds, the slightly geeky guy is king.
I love Korea. |

That's certainly true in a lot of English classrooms. |

Rofl it's the same for MOST people who play video games. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people flip out over something.
"Mah Keyz... Youz logged mah Keyz!!!"
"A$$ you killed me!" (duh)
The only difference with Western countries that don't have PC bangs is, people do it in the comfort of their own home.
Ever go to a Lan party?
I once had the brilliant chance to attend one for Counter Strike. Being somewhat of the gaming nerd myself, I said yes.
HOLY CRAP. I'll tell you the rest later, I needz talk to mai co-teacher. |

To be humans is their nature. We're all humans with the inherant instinctive nature to love, hate, and seek money, status, technical capabiltiy, and competitive advantages over others. The computer games let the young guys simulate their dream to live and do as they want to. Be bad ass mechanized warriors with integrated cybernetic technologies and unlimited money. And just be super stars rising to the top. |
