If it were only the school...

The cafeteria is absolutely revolting, and it's made me sick two of the three times I've eaten there, so I refuse to eat there ever again. Fortunately, I live on campus.

In SE Asia McDonald's and Burger King are places to avoid. Here they're things to look forward to. That really says something about the variety of Korean cuisine.

BTW, at my school you's have to replace sausage with squid, and bacon with deep-fried mushy bottom-feeder (actually my school has an OK meal 25% of the time).

That sucks Sad

My middle school in the boonies has an edible menu for 20k won/month. I don't really worry about variety anymore because I look a food as something as a means to an end - unless it's m&ms and those strangely addictive "coffee peanuts" they have here.

Don't forget "mountain vegetables" (read: grass). Some of which are pretty good when they aren't steamed into mush.
