I started teaching a business woman one on one for two hours a week. She's looking to switch jobs and needs to be able to interview in English. For the first couple of lessons, we've been going over her resume and fixing it up.
From now on, I want to focus on interview skills. I don't really have much experience teaching that kind of stuff (only a little bit at a language school back home) and I don't have any access to books. What sort of things should I do? I looked at the about.com pages, and some of the stuff is useful but I was wondering if anyone had any experience doing this sort of thing. Any suggestions?? |

Why don't u suggest a couple of good books for her and then let her choose one. Then simply go over a chapter a day if she's capable of it.
For my business class, one day was vocab, grammar related directly to business. The second day was a discussion class based on current events around the world. It worked out pretty good and it didn't get monotonous. |
