If you are interested in playing board games of any kind, we have a group that meets in Uijongbu (just north of Seoul). Whether you're interested in playing Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, wargames, party games, or more - we have a selection of over 1000 different games.

We're meeting this week at my house - my wife and I are hosting, and anyone interested is invited. We're quite close to a subway stop - Nokyang on line # 1 - and I can transport people there and back.

If you are interested in coming, shoot me an email at [email protected] or call me at 011-764-6136.

I hope to see some of you!

Wow, that's impressive! It's a bit far for me to join, but no more than I play board games, we'd probably spend most of the time going over the rules! Embarassed

It's a great idea and good luck on the gatherings.

Don't worry about rules explanations. I can teach you a new game in less than ten minutes. So even if you don't know the rules, I'll get you involved, and competitive quickly.

Tom, if you have any contacts in the Daejeon area I'd love to hear from them. I'm in a small gaming group in Daejeon. We mostly play RPG games but a fair amount of board games and card games as well. Mostly strategy gaming (not Monopoly style).

Anyone else on the board interested in Daejeon, send me a PM.

I've seen catan for sale in Korean at a couple bookstores. If you've got some friends and you already know the rules, pick a copy up. That way you don't have to worry about any complicated rules explanations.
