Hi,
I am planning a return to Korea and in preparation for sending out resumes and particulars to certain schools, I know that a CRC, with VSS is now required. I have no problem with this, but I cannot seem to find a definitive answer as to whether the CRC can be no older than 3 months or 6 months from the date of contract signing. I have heard both mentioned and would really like to hear from someone who has had recent, firsthand experience with the process to clarify this.
Also, what time frame would I be looking at from start to finish,(I will be going to my local RCMP detachment to request this)? By this I mean from the time I walk into the police station until I have it in my hands.
Any and all constructive replies appreciated. Thank-you in advance.

This is not a question you should be asking on 'Dave's'. Ask K-Immi (and pray the visa officer doesn't change his/her mind between the time you ask and the time your sponsor applies for a 'certificate of recognition of visa issuance' or 'certificate No. of visa issuance')... or that a different Immi officer deals with your file. Rolling Eyes

In other words... it depends...
