I don't mean it's a revolution or anything, but there are a number of newbies who are trying like 'heck' to up-grade the quality of posts here at Dave's. Probably, like in previous years, they will exhaust themselves and quit, but for the time being, there are a number of new people who are trying to make this site a place where people can post reactions to a new and different country....and not whine, whine, whine.

It's refreshing.

I'm a newbie. Dave's seems to be my only refuge from the horrible place that is called Korea. Rolling Eyes Very Happy

I blame winter. When it's cold, everyone is grumpy and depressed.
I think Spring will have a good influence on posts now. Laughing

After that post, Ya-Ta, I wouldn't be surprised if a thread titled something like "How Can I Find the Easy Korean Girls?" appeared in the near future. Surprised

Hey! In defense of the bitter vets, it's always the newbs who start those threads.

It's probably also partly due to all the public school workers now having to work their asses off for the new school year, as opposed to the desk warming of the last few months.

Probably because anyone with a brain is going to leave the country. Dave's is boring as shit if you aren't going to be living in Korea anymore.

Really? This is the weakest I've ever seen this site, with the dumbest posts, and also the lowest traffic.

I concur. It's on the high road to irrelevancy. Check out other sites (which I won't mention).

Dave's is indeed changing in its character.

I guess some like the way it's headed.

I personally used to learn a lot here AND find it fun, and had to find out what I missed when I wasn't here.

Nowadays I find I can go away for days or a week and miss nothing.

Did this guy plagerize his thesis
I think I'm in a Monty Python sketch...
