How soon should your employer begin paying health insurance after starting your job? |

It usually takes about a month, sometimes a little less. They can't apply for health insurance until you have your alien card. |

Thanks.
I received my alien registration card this month, so I guess I should start seeing deductions next month. |

You may see deductions; however, that doesn't necessarily mean the employer has registered you with the NHIC (or the Pension Corp.) and you are 'covered'. Check with those agencies yourself to make sure. In many cases, hogwon owners deduct monthly premiums and just 'pocket' the money. |

Remember that your health insurance is retroactive to the date on your ARC, which means your premiums will also be paid retroactively. Expect a big bill. Just make sure you get that lil insurance card, and check the date. Make sure you always get the newest one. You can have that sent to your apartuh. |
