Hi! Me again!!!! I can't seem to buy anything without the trusted advice of my friends from the tech forum.

I want to buy some decent quality computer speakers under 50$ which can be purchased on-line.

What do you recommend?

Well depending on what you're looking for? More you pay (most of the time) you get better sound quality. There's 2.0 system (just 2 speaker no bass), 2.1 system(2 speakers w/ bass) and 5.1 system (5 satalite speakers with bass)

What kind of system do you want? Something for music? Movies?

Something for music and movies. Nothing too fancy.
I'm just curious whether anyone has found a good deal out there for budget speakers OR if there's a particular brand/model I should stay away from. It's just that when I'm ordering off the web I have no clue what I'm actually getting, and going into the stores doesn't help much either.

I'm very happy with the Creative Inspire T10 2.0 desktop speakers.

They were 66,000 in Linko's.

Invest in a quality set of headphones. I have a Creative Inspire 5.1 DTS set-up for my computer with an Audigy sound card, but my neighbors always complained about the noise. I bought some Sony Studio DJ headphones and problem solved. You might spend a little more, but you will be happy and so will your neighbors.
