ahhh now I recall - a londoner I knew here was the same way - just went beserk when he found skeeters in his apt -

Because the mosquitoes here are relentless and leave huge welts on me...I think I'm allergic to their saliva. They never die......ever. |

Because today it is a mosquito. Next week it will be 5 and the week after that the walls will be covered in blood from dead mosquitos |

I saw some even a few weeks ago. I know it sucks that they are coming back out. Mosquitoes love my blood...  |

They've evolved into some sort of freak life form.
Their bites do indeed *hurt* like a frakkin' bee-sting. Not only that, but they consistently feel the need to buzz against your ear and nose. They also bite you on your knuckle a lot. |
