I am moving to Pohang soon from Suwon for my next job...
Can anyone tell me about the life in Pohang? Like social scene, night life, things to do and also are there any soccer teams that play competitively there with foreigners (other than Pohang Steelers)?
Much appreciated... |

Pohang isn't horrible like some people say. The downtown is pretty nice. You have most of the major shopping centers like Lotte and Homever. There are alot of foreigners and 3 good foreign bars from what i've been told. The names of which escape me. The best part is that your very close to Daegu, Gyeongju and Busan, making weekend travel very easy and convenient.
Good Luck!

Don't swim at Bukbu Beach - not clean. Chilpo beach which is towards Handong University is cleaner and pretty nice. |
