Just curious...

Any former JETs (Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme) now teaching in Korea?

I did a stint in Ehime-ken (Shikoku) back in 2000-2002.

Small world!

I was there for 05-07.

And the funniest part is that even when I moved to Jeju-do, people would still dump mikans on me randomly.

When you're a Jet,
You're a Jet all the way
From your first cigarette
To your last dyin' day.

When you're a Jet,
If the spit hits the fan,
You got brothers around,
You're a family man!

You're never alone,
You're never disconnected!
You're home with your own:
When company's expected,
You're well protected!

Then you are set
With a capital J,
Which you'll never forget
Till they cart you away.
When you're a Jet,
You stay a Jet!

I'm a current CIR whose also looking at teaching in Korea if I don't find an eikaiwa job in Japan.

I would stay as a CIR, but my contract was not renewed. I am scheduled to talk with Footprints tomorrow.

I am in Sendai.

Was a JET in Chiba 1993-96. I haven't come across any other ex-JETs in my 10 years in Korea, tho I had expected to.
