I want to block Adobe from getting into my computer with my Comodo firewall but am too dumb to figure out how to do it myself. Anyone done this specific action? It might be more complicated than it seems at first glance... help appreciated. |

I could have told you two weeks ago, before I removed Comodo... in any case, you should uninstall Adobe Acrobat, for starters. It's now nothing more than spyware that narks on you if you use other Adobe products illegally, for example. Also, it's just slow.
I use Foxit to read .pdfs now: http://download.cnet.com/Foxit-Reader/3000-10743_4-10313206.html?tag=mncol |

You could simply block Adobe in your HOSTS file. |

Go to "Firewall" -> "Define a new blocked application" -> "Browse" -> "Program Files\Adobe" -> "Acrobat.exe" (or whatever executable you want to block) -> OK. |
