I'm making a Flash based website for my English class.
I've uploaded the first lesson.

first site: http://briansuwon.l4rge.com/ (seems to be down)
new site: http://englishkorea.110mb.com/

Give me some feedback and I'll continue to update this thread as I add lessons. If you want me to change anything or add anything, post your comments and I'll consider it.

Nice. I teach only speaking, so after the practise periods, I would have the students model the dialogue....

Very nicely done. I agree about having the students act out the dialogue since it seems like they could use all the practice speaking they can get.

Number 8 might confuse them a bit. Well, it would confuse my students...

That's pretty cool, is that generally how your middle school classes go? I tend to touch on less topics in one lesson, otherwise I just hear those really rude sighs. They seem to get pretty fed up with presentations, but they would hate it even more without multimedia. Can't win sometimes.

Not really, this is more of a supplemental lesson. I made this because my co-teacher wants me to cover the material from the book. I usually teach my own material and then cover this towards the end. I only added the additional material at the end as filler.

I'll probably remove the filler from the lesson. I should divide the lessons into different webpages. I will create some short lessons that just cover the core material from each chapter. Than I'll have a separate link to filler activites, listening activies, and so on, so I can easily mix and match on the fly.

I've made some major updates to the site.
-I made a minor change to the layout of each page.
-I added a countdown timer so you can time any of the activities with the lesson.
-I added two role play dialogues at the end.
-I separated the brainteasers/fillers

@poet13: Hasn't he been around recently? Maybe he went on vacation.

@akiakiakiekul, Yu_Bum_suk, nicam, and poet13: Thanks. If you guys keep checking out the site. I'll keep updating it. If you think somethings missing, make a suggestion and I'll consider adding it.

I've made some updates to the site again.
-Now you can drag the small timer anywhere you want Smile
-Now you can hide/show the timer if you want.
-I've added a randomized student picker. Just enter the number of students you have and your ready.
-You can drag the student number picker.
-You can hide/show the student number picker.

-I've added lessons to each dialogue to help the students gradually become less dependent on reading the script as they practice.

The student picker is cool. Maybe you can add something for multiple students for when they practice dialogues. Maybe configure it to randomly pick 2, 3 or 4 students. That would be cool.

I just saw a response from DDeubel on another thread...first time I've seen a fresh reply in months.

More Updates Smile

-I now added the Poet's Student Number Picker.
It allows you to choose if you want to pick a random number for 1 student at a time or 2 or 3 or 4 students at a time. Good for mixing the groups up. You can access it from the main page and you can now access it from within the lesson. It's the SNP in the bottom left corner. Clicking there will open it in a second window so you can easily switch between the lesson and picking students.

-I made the links more colorful.
-I added a music section. You can read the lyrics that scroll by as you listen to the music and oh, some words are missing Smile = gap fill exercise.
There is a rewind button so you can easily repeat certain lines.
If you like the style just let me know. I have 4 other songs ready to upload and am considering making more.

As always, suggestions are welcome.
