Am I reading this correctly?

1. They want to pay an f2 class visa holder LESS money?

2. I think they need someone to level test on July 12th . Any f2 visa holders out there going to work for 3 hours for 100,000 won?

From the poor English my guess is they are going to try and get away with hiring people without the correct type of visa to do their level testing.

I met a director i knew on the street and she said she will only take F2s now but hasn't found any yet. Asked if i was interested in working for her.

I asked her what she is offering and she said 2.2 for 120 hours a month...told her good luck with that.

i told her i make 3.2 just for working 4 hours and afternoon and said the majority of F2s i know I getting that kind of money...

Then she proceeds to ask me if i know anyone who will take the job...hahahahahaha.

"3.2 off only 4 hours a day? Where can i find a job like that?"

Maybe because you meant "working 4 hours a day" instead of... "off only 4 hours a day" ???

I can't say much for 'just because' (don't know the circumstances) . The salary is ok, but I do not know how green the pasture is. 'just because' seems to be 'ok' depending on the market.

F2 visa = $. Don't forget that.

Personally, as an F2 holder with a lot of off time, I enjoy sending resumes and agreeing to work for people like that just to waste their time.

I do live out of Seoul...but i don't think it is that relevant.

I work 17 hours a week for 3.2(so around about 40 if you take into account there are 22 pay days a month....
However this is contracted with vacations and sick days plus a bonus(3.2) at the end...

This is fine and i could have earned more an hour but I know I defiantly have work and can work in this job for as long as I like so i am happy...

Outside of this i work for 50 an hour in the evening but I have found afternoon blocks at more than 40 an hour hard to come by....

Of course you get the occasional month and plenty of 4 hours/1 days a week at 50,60 kind of deal but not on a consistent daily basis.

I also think a lot of people on this forum talk a lot of shit with how much they are earning on an F2. i am very happy with my earnings...

40,000 for block hours outside of Seoul is respectable. I agree there is a little bit of BS going on some times.

Sorry if I came across the wrong way.

I'm an F2 just recently arrived. Put my info out there and there were a lot of people contacting me who think they can pay 25-30 an hour (many for just 1 hour a day) and save the visa hassle, housing, insurance, etc. But they must be finding someone or hiring illegally. The jobs disappear off the boards.
I know people talk about not taking less than 50 an hour, but I chose to work in block shifts for a school for 40 instead of traveling all over for 50, and actually working longer for the same $. I'm just the token foreigner in a hakwon that is always asked if they have a native speaker. So I just teach most classes on their schedule once in a week and Korean teachers teach the rest of the time. Works out to 3 days now. Not sure why they didn't get an E-2 who'd work a lot longer and every day (I used to do it 30 hours/wk for 1.2, 14 years ago living in a roach infested hotel room with no ventilation or A/C).
I guess if you had all the students in one neighborhood, 50 would be great. But I preferred a bit less for block shifts in a room where I control the A/C.

I make less money now than I did in my first job. Weird. I was kind of in a hurry-and-sign position though. On top of that, I have a stupid management fee for my officetel apartment. It's almost 100 fkg thousand. For what? Puckers. That will be an ongoing battle. They need me there and I'll be hinting at this and that. I can always get another job.
