I saw a Canadian boxer (light welterweight I think) score a 4 round points win over a Korean fighter on KBS sports channel, the programme is called 'Korean Contender' and it features novices boxing each other.
I think he is the third Canadian boxer to fight in a Korean ring after Justin Chaisson (who fought for the Korean heavyweight title) and active pro middleweight Joe Pineault who will be coming back soon from a broken hand!
Anyway - if you read this or know him - May I pass on my congratulations on what was a cracking fight and wish him luck in the future!
PS: Watch out for my pals Chuck and Briggsy in the near future - caving in heads in the square ring! |

Hope to see you back in the gym once your eyes heal. And congratulations to that Canadian guy. Anyone know how you get on that show and how much they get paid? I need to get back in shape yet, but I think I could do ok. |

I personally think you would do more than 'OK' Chuck! In fact I think you would do really well on that show!
My head should be ready for some blunt force trauma for around July - I should start going back to the gym even if it is to hit bags and whatnot but the main factor is I can now see people trying to hit me! |
