I watched the whole Channel 4 documentary and thought she did a fantastic job. The behaviour at three of the schools she filmed at was just unbelieveable. It was a bit like reading hagwon horror story threads on the JDF - it made me appreciate my school and students so much.

She's dug her own grave. Now nobody will care about her arguement. The board of education will put it down to poor classroom management skills to take the heat off their own backs. The lesson is if you teach Science just try to keep their attention and FVCK the curriculum and the textbook. Make a vulcano. Go fossil hunting.Take them for an afternoon to a dinosour museum. Take them to the planitarium.

What do you think has caused students to change over the last 75 years, from obedient, attentive and responsible to what we see today (and in the video)?

Spoiled parents passing on their attitudes to their kids. God forbid if Asia eventually becomes like that...
