I was here during the Olympics and the Euros and they were the first big international sporting events I have watched in Korea. The coverage of the Euros was great, no problems (well not many) there except the KO times which is no one's fault of course.

However the thread on Kim Yu Na, the figure skater, and recalling the coverage of the olympics, got me thinking. The olympics had little to no coverage of many of the events where Koreans were not involved (unless they were broadcast at very unsociable hours, and if they were I apologise). The only one I can remember seeing was the US-China basketball and I vaguely remember highlights of the US-Spain final (I think). Also my country, the UK, won approximately 19 golds and not one of those victories did I manage to see in Korea. Not one!

Does anyone recall the coverage of the last few World Cup tournaments? Was there comprehensive coverage of the other games not involving Korea (and I am not just talking about the opening match and the final)? Anyone have any ideas or recall the last few tournaments?

I'd say every single match will be on TV live and many repeated several times.

Am I wrong?

They'll show every single game at least once, and any game that Korea wins, at least 200.

They dont even come close to showing every single game. Especially in the knock out rounds when the games are on at the same time. Three channesl will show the same game.
