|
|
I just arrived in Seoul to teach English. While still in America, I bought a power adapter that is suppose to work here. The plug in's here are weird though, its the right prong on the end, but the oulets sink into the wall so far that it can't get in. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Can I buy something to fix this or do I just need another power adapter? I'm kinda new to the city, are power adapters easy to find? Store names to look for?
Thanks for any help! |

sounds like you just need a new adapter.
2 prong American plugs will work fine with the little black adaptors you can pick up at places like Yongsan. I've also seen universal adaptors for sale in places like Lotte Mart.
BUT!!!!!! Make sure you have a convertor for your electronics. For example, you can plug your laptop in because it has that convertor box that goes up to 240 Volts, but if there is no built in convertor you will have some smoke and possibly fireworks.
If that's old news, sorry. Good luck in your search. |
