Yeah. It says it's 30F (just below 0C) but it feels waaaay worse. It's the wind and the moisture that does me in.

Happy my husband already has the fixins to make homemade samgyetang for supper later tonight. It's a good day to snuggle in with a loved one and some Dolph Lundgren movies, me thinks.

nahhhh... Tshirt weather! I'm from Canada and when I was a kid, I had to walk ten kilometers to school in 20 feet of snow wearing my grandmother's pajamas and it was minus 40 celsius... uphill both ways ....etc. etc.

LOL, I walked outside to throw out the trash around noon and the wind was blowing and it was 12F, and I said to myself "Stay inside the rest of the day." That was enough for me.

That's not counting the wind chill. It's brutally cold out there.

My hagwon had us take the kids to an amusement park today. OUTDOORS. I've been sitting on my ondol floor trying to recover the feeling in my buttcheeks.

At 5 pm it was -14c (without wind chill factor) at Ganghwa, the closest station to me.

Canadians often proclaim they're gonna die from the heat / humidity in summer, when it's plus 38c. Then who's the wuss?

I'm from Minnesota, from one of the coldest cities in North America, and I find this winter refreshingly mild compared to back home. It's still cold, yeah, but if I bundle up like I do back home I barely feel it. Also, not NEARLY as much snow.

What I don't get is seeing all these girls running around in shorts and short skirts and nothing to protect their legs but tights or thin leggings. Shocked I don't see a lot of body fat on them, so it makes me wonder what they use for insulation!

I'm pretty sure I'll be a great big wuss when summer hits. I can't stand the heat and humidity. Rolling Eyes
