All the Korean teachers (so I have noticed) have the internal MSN system which they use 'Korean style' to talk to each other. My 150 year old computer has not been fitted with this device thus any teacher who hasn't the courage to chat to me face to face cannot chat to me online either! Rolling Eyes

So are you part of your schools MSN system? Or is it just my school (Guseong Middle School - I will be leaving you all in 84 days! Razz ) who are just anti-waygook?

At our school, they have a similar messaging system. I am the only 'teacher' without it. I think it's because we don't understand Korean.

I don't want to communicate with any of them. Laughing

Admin wanted to put it on mine, but I told them I don't want it. There have been at least 2 viruses passed around the school via that messenger system in the past year

i've got cool messenger. it's pretty useful since i only have 1 co-teacher in my office. i can write messages to the other ones without going downstairs and trying to track them down. just ask your school to install it (though the pop-ups can be annoying after awhile)

Yeah, my co-teacher installed it for me within my first week. I rarely use it, although it does allow me to avoid a trip downstairs.

I disabled it on mine because it keeps popping up and annoying me. They upgraded the server software and it blocks all messengers except for the Korean one Rolling Eyes

So now I have to use a browser based messenger if I want to MSN chat. It blocks Skype to which peaces me off.
