Hello everyone. I am currently in Korea and finishing up my 1st contract and am planning on changing locations next year. I am currently working for GEPIK and I want to work in Seoul in the public school system (SMOE). I am curious how I am to obtain all of the documents that are required while I am still in Korea. When my contract ends on May 26th, I am planning on traveling a month or so and then heading back to the US before I have to head back here in August for the commence of the new contact in Seoul.
Has anyone had the same issue I am having, and if so, how did you obtain the required docs? ie.. Criminal background check, ect..
Your input will be much appreciated..
Thank you.. |

I did this last year, but I didn't go back home. I stayed in the country. I changed locations and extended the visa I have instead of getting a new one. If you get a new one, I think the best you can do is go to like Japan, or in your case back home and do the whole routine over again like new.
It's your choice, do you want to stay in the country or go home first? |
