You just apply for a university job like you apply for any other teaching job. With a year or two under your belt at an adult hakwon and an MA, you have a good chance at getting hired. Once you get over here and get the lay of the land, start looking on the job boards for individual universities and even on Dave's board for positions. They'll tell you what you need to send in. The regular paperwork rules apply...transcripts, diplomas, letter of recommendation, police checks...
What you should know is that employment conditions have stagnated for most ESL university teaching positions, and the competition for the decent positions still out there has understandably and correspondingly gotten stiffer. |
