My computer needs a windows upgrade, but I don't want to buy new (too expensive). Any suggestions?

Might the software be available at the Yongsan black market video section? If not, any suggestions?

I don't really know because I've never done it, but I'm sure there are loads of pirated versions of windows/whatever OS turns your crank in Yongsan. Finding one in English might be a bit of a chore. There are always torrents.

You want to upgrade to Vista?? I would just keep XP if I were you. Much of the bugs have been worked out and it's much more stable.

Have you used vista sp1 for more than 5 minutes? If you did was the computer an entry level computer, that came out at the same time as xp?

Everybody i know that has given vista a serious go has stuck with it and has liked it.

Sure if you are running a p3 with 512mb of ram forget vista. Otherwise you don't know what you are talking about

When you turn on the computer, on the windows booting up loading screen, it should say Windows XP on it. If not, you have something else (maybe Vista or even windows 98 or lower)

The latest windows is commerically out is Vista, and Window 7 is still in development (even with the release of the "beta").

Windows VISTA SUCKS !!!! Most people will tell you that.

Many programs cant even run on vista. Older and newer. Windows VISTA is so bad that there coming out with windows 7 in July this year.

I think you can get a free download of windows 7 still. I did. That one has most the fixes windows vista lacks.

Esp if yoru computer is older I wouldnt get vista.
