Me and 3 friends are takin the KTX bullet train to seoul this weekend, and heard some rumors about discounts...like since there is four of us....

Does anyone know of any group discounts or anything else like that?

Get a table seat and save heaps. I can't remember how much exactly, but a table seat for 3 is still cheaper than 3 singles, and more social, although expect to get angry looks all trip for being loud.

yeah someone else mentioned the table thing to me...but im on the ktx website right now and dont see anything on how to buy anything besides normal seat tickets....

it's called "dong ban seok(동반석)" and cost 128,000won.
so i guess 32,000 for each.
not bookable on English menu tho.

Thanks for the info on the 동반석 seats. Im going down to Mokpo with a few friends this weekend and we had already bought 3 seperate seats. Another friend decided to go, so while picking up her ticket, I asked if we could trade in the ones I already bought and get the table seats. It was cheaper for all 4 seats at the table than it was for just 3 individual seats....60,000won cheaper to be exact.
