Okay, I had gone through the threads on here and thought I knew what I was doing.

Apparently not.

I sauntered in to the local KEB and in my managled Korean and wild gesturing thought I had gotten it across that I wanted a year long high interest savings account. The woman was very patient and understanding my lack of Korean skills and seemed to be on the same page as me.

Forty Five minutes later all my money is in a year long savings account that has a rate of return of 2.410% which is rather low don't you think?

So does anyone know of a bank where I can get a better return than this? There has to be something out there where I can stash my money and earn some interest at least more than that which according to my calculations amounts to diddly squat.

Please help!
